1. Proprietary Entity & Platform Role

TrueFlats operates as an online peer-to-peer technology intermediary connecting flat owners, tenants, and roommates. TrueFlats is not a real estate agency, property manager, broker, or landlord.

2. Strict Zero-Brokerage Policy

• TrueFlats is an exclusive direct-peer platform. Real estate agents, brokers, property managers, or commercial listing aggregators are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, posting listings, or harvesting contact information.
• Any account found to belong to a broker or unauthorized intermediary will be permanently terminated without prior notice.

3. Listing Integrity & User Warranties

By submitting a listing on TrueFlats, you explicitly warrant that:

• You are the legal property owner, current authorized tenant (for replacement postings), or primary resident.
• All property details, rent figures, deposit requirements, and photos are truthful and accurate.
• You grant TrueFlats a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, crop, and compress user-uploaded property photos on the Platform feed.

4. Intermediary Protection & Limitation of Liability

In accordance with Section 79 of the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000:

• TrueFlats acts purely as an online intermediary. We do not own, inspect, verify physical property conditions, or manage lease agreements offline.
• TrueFlats shall not be liable for any offline disputes, physical property damages, deposit non-refunds, lease defaults, or misrepresentations between users. Users are urged to conduct independent due diligence before signing leases or transferring money.

5. Account Security & Verification Rules

Attempting to reverse-engineer the verification wall, scrape telephone numbers using automated bots, or submit falsified identification documents will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action under applicable laws.
